WINNING THE SECOND BILLION TOGETHER!

Hundreds of pastors and leaders in Eurasia are praying and working toward more than 430,000 church plants over the next ten to fifteen years in this world region.

Dear Visionary Leader,

This letter is being written from Kiev, Ukraine, where we have just finished the first of 12 international Synergize! Summits over 13 months to develop regional strategies to help the Church double in size within the next ten to fifteen years.

Key pastors and leaders are praying and working toward more than 430,000 churches to be planted within the next ten to fifteen years. The Eurasia Summit includes the countries of Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belorussia, Georgia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Russia, Taijikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

As we concluded our time together we prayed for more than five million churches to be planted and more than one billion souls to be saved in this generation. I have been afforded the opportunity to participate in many outstanding projects, but this commitment service was one of the most historic and sacred moments I have witnessed in 25 years of ministry.

Lance Armstrong won the Tour De France eight years in a row, setting an all-time world record. During the interview he was asked, “What is the hardest part in preparing to win the Tour De France?”

It seemed he stood before the cameras a long time before he said, “February.”

“February?” the interviewer said. “What makes February the hardest part of winning the Tour De France?”

Lance said, “If you don’t prepare in February you will never win in July. It is what you are doing when no one is watching that determines how well you do when everyone is watching.”

We do not have time to waste when it is time to sow the seed of the Gospel to have a great harvest in the future. James O.
