How To Become A Pacesetter In Your City And Nation!

Dear Visionary Leader,

The Global HUBS of Christianity continue to be deployed around the globe. This week, Rev. Javier Espinoza, CoChair/Central America for the Billion Soul Network will be hosting the launch of The Monterrey, Mexico Global Hub of Christianity. Hundreds of pastors and leaders are coming from across Mexico to attend. Dr. Elmer Towns, Dean of the Global Church Learning Center and Cofounder of Liberty University, and Dr. James O. Davis, Cofounder of the Billion Soul Network will bring keynote messages. More information will be coming soon.

There are three overarching purposes for a Global Hub of Christianity: 1) To Synergize the best relationships; 2) To Systematize the best training and; 3) To Strategize for unreached people groups. Presently, there are nearly 40 Global Hubs in the Billion Soul Network. It is estimated that by the end of 2016, there will be approximately 60 Global Hubs. Each of these Global Hubs are interconnected digitally, creating a international synergistic collaboration among hub host leaders worldwide. The goal for phase one of hub deployment is 200 hubs by 2020!

I have often asked, “Why isn’t every church the greatest influence in the community?” Why isn’t every church on the cutting edge today? Years ago, I discovered the answer is creative, Bible-based, spirit-filled leadership in the local church. “Creativity” involves imagination. “Bible-based ” consist of indoctrination. “Pentecostal” consist of inspiration. “Leadership” provides influence. All of these ingredients are necessary to be effective and equipping the saints and evangelizing the lost.

I believe the church is to be the pacesetter in the community. We are to lead in preaching Christ, teaching the church, and reaching our country. We have a job to do with Christ. The job includes evangelization and discipleship. The lack of time before the coming of Christ, demands that we be efficient (get the job done right the first time). The value of a soul requires effectiveness (getting the right job done). Our loyalty to Christ instills excellence (getting the right job done right). Someone once said, “if you do not have time to do it right the first time, when will we have time to do it over?” When short men cast long shadows, then one knows the sun is about the set. The sun is setting on the harvest field. Is your church a pacesetter in evangelism?

In recent years the church has tampered with tinker-toy theology, been worldly with their witness, high on the pills of prosperity, and pursuing hollywood and glitz instead of holiness and godliness. Christians who live in other nations have less and do more for Christ; and we in America have more and do less for Christ. There can be no doubt that we need the river of revival to bring life to the dead and dry places in the church.

The fundamental principles become the floor plan for building a solid, cutting-edge church, guaranteed to endure “the gates of hell” now and enjoy the glories of heaven forever. I hope you have enjoyed The 10 Qualities Of A Kingdom Minded Church in the past weeks. We need to redefine our purpose, rekindle our passion, reconsider our personality, reevaluate our pragmatism, remember our partnerships, reform our preservation, renew our prayer, revise our preaching, retain our Pentecostal power and recommit to be a pacesetter! Blessings.
