The Top Ten Steps To Prepare For 2017!
Dear Visionary Leader,
We are witnessing a rapid expansion of the Global Hubs of Christianity worldwide. In the last few weeks, global hubs have met throughout the United States and Ecuador, India, Philippines and Holland. As the Global Church moves into 2017, the Global Hubs of Christianity will open in Liberia, Kenya, Uganda, Ecuador, Japan, Germany, Thailand, Canada, Guyana, Suriname and Venezuela. The overarching outcomes of these hubs is to synergize the best relationship, systemize the best training and strategize for unreached peoples.
While the Global Hubs of Christianity continue to multiply, the Global Church Learning Center is growing at the fastest pace to date. The GCLC consist of more than 125 courses from key leaders from around the globe. If you have not chosen to become a member, then, what are you waiting for? When you choose to become a member, your life and ministry will grow exponentially for years to come!
As we move closer to the close of another year, it is important to remember that it is just as important to make sure we end a year right, as it is to begin a new year. Life can be summarized in the trades and transitions that we choose to make over the course of our lifespan. As we continue to age, these trades and transitions become more important with the passing of time. When we are younger, we have more time to make up for a bad trade or a terrible transition. Trades consist of exchanging “this” for “that” and transitions are the movements from “here” to “there.” As we come to the close of 2016, we will transition into 2017. I have highlighted the top ten steps to a terrific transition.
Think to your way to the top! Regardless of the amount of money we have, each of us choose our thoughts each day. The average person has approximately 50,000 thoughts per day. The Scripture is filled with challenges in regards to how we think and our thought life. We are moving in the direction of our most dominating thought. How others will view our lives is in direct correlation to how we see ourselves. The most important words in life are, “Your thoughts control your life.”
Redeem the time every day! It may only be a minute, but eternity is in it. We can redeem the time by walking in the Spirit. When we walk in the Spirit, we will not be doing the things we should not be doing and will give more time to do the things we should be doing.
Advance toward your focused goal! When we place our heart and eyes on a fixed goal, we will have greater success. Without a focused goal, we will be like a fish in the tree and the bird in the sea. Life will not make sense and we will not be successful.
Note lessons learned this year! Life is lived forward and learned backward. We are to learn lessons, not just when life is challenging, but even when life is comfortable. It is true that not all learners are leaders, but all leaders are learners. I challenge you to learn something new everyday!
Strategize for your future success! The more we strategize, the more we can maximize our future. The more we can think ahead of the curve of time, the more momentum we will have in the year ahead. I believe one of the true marks of a visionary leader is the ability to see first and see further down the road of life than the average person.
Inspire others to achieve more! I believe with Christ, working inside our lives, we can inspire others to believe in themselves. Faith is both “caught” and “taught” by the circumference of our relationships. While we are concerned about the nasty here and now, we should also encourage others to be happy about the by and by!
Train for a healthy lifestyle! While we focus our vision, we need to fine-tune the vehicle of our bodies. We will need a healthy vehicle in order to carry the vision across the finish line. It would be a tragedy if our lives came to a close and our race was not completed.
Invest in the world around you! I believe our private, personal, professional and public worlds should be greater places as a result of our godly example in every sphere of our lives. There are two major investments. The greatest investment we ever make is into our personal lives. The second greatest investment is into the lives of the people around us.
Organize your personal and professional life! The more organized we become, the more creative freedom we experience at the same time. There is slavery found in chaos and success found in structure. Think about it. Everything in the Universe runs on time; every great company runs on a schedule. I am not suggesting that a leader, not have spontaneity in his/her life. I am only recommending that we build a strong foundation so spontaneity and creativity have a great pasture to prosper in for years to come.
Network your friends for maximum impact in 2017! Make a list of the closet friends in your life. This powerful list illustrates where you will be five years from now. If you don’t like where your friends are taking you, then get some new friends in 2017!
I hope these Top Ten Steps To Success In 2017, have been most meaningful to you. I challenge you to grow and go instead of drying and dying in 2017! Blessings.
