Your Invitation To Join The Finish 2030 Race In 2018!
Dear Visionary Leader,
New Year’s Greetings!
As we cross into the new year, we embark on new uncharted land. At the recent Wittenberg 2017 Congress (October 30th – November 1, 2017) we synergistically launched the FINISH 2030. For more than 2000 years, the Church has been striving to complete the Great Commission. Yet, every generation has come and gone and the assignment has still not been completed.
As we begin this new year, the Global Church is bolting out of its old cinder blocks of thinking and is racing toward the finish line. The Global Church Network has set an ambitious goal of having Bibles, Believers and Bodies of Christ in the rest of unengaged people groups by the end of 2030. As we move toward the 2,000th year birthday of the Church, our best gift to our Lord would be to finish what He commanded us to do 2,000 years ago. We believe it is possible!
At the end of the Wittenberg 2017 Congress, in Castle Church, by the grave of Martin Luther, the Protestant Reformer, “more than 600 Christian leaders from every major world region committed to The Finish Declaration.
I’m inviting you to run the race with us. I’m inviting you to become a Founder of the FINISH 2030. The late Dr. Bill Bright, Founder of Campus Crusade for Christ, use to repeatedly say to me, “It is always a complement to invite a friend to do something great with his or her life.” Then, Dr. Bright went on to say, “When you invite a person to do something big or great with his/her life, you are saying to him/her that they are already big or great in their heart.”
As we step into the cinder blocks of this new year, I am praying for our Lord to raise up visionary leaders who will bolt out of these cinder blocks to run the race together to the finish line. Between now and the end of 2030, we are asking the Lord to help us to put Bibles, Believers and Bodies of Christ in the remaining 3000 unengaged, unreached people groups in the world.
In the next thirteen years, for example, Bible translation for 3,000 unengaged, unreached people groups equals 3,567,000 Bible chapters must be translated either in written or oral form. Yet, every marathon has a beginning! We are standing today at the starting line, believing by December 2030, we will cross the finish line.
Would you consider joining this race with us? I’m inviting you to pray for unreached peoples, pledge to build synergy in the Church and partner through becoming a member of the Great Commission Association. The Great Commission Association consist of Christian leaders, who support the Global Church Network with a $25 per monthly support. I hope you will join this international movement!
As we step out on to the track in 2018, we believe it is possible to finish the Great Commission in our lifetime. I am inviting you to join the Finish 2030 Race.
